I was one of the ten artist that lifted Rosemary Street in Belfast during the Autumn Jam.

As a signwriter my mural was always going to be a statement. Since Autumn was the main topic for the event, the quote ‘The Only Constant is Change’ resonated significantly with me and it’s something I repeat myself constantly. This quote is from Heraclitus, greek phylosopher.

I designed the quote with a script style alphabet and used spray cans and emulsion as mediums. The script style allowed me to give continuity and flow to the letters much like the change of seasons into one another. On the other hand, the spray paint help me to get that intense contrast between the colours.

This quote portrays how life and everything in it is subject to transformation. Learning how to adapt is key to your overall well-being.
